Hot Cross Buns, Not just for Easter

Ok so this one is a part of everyone’s Spring tradition. No matter your religion or culture this soft, yummy goodness holds a fond memory. Here we go!

QUICK Refrigerator Recipe is as follows……1 pack grands , 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, 1/2 raisins, 1 egg, 5 tablespoons conf. sugar and some water. This one is super simple and fast. Roll each biscuit until it is 4 inches wide all around. On half the circle sprinkle with cinnamon and raisins. Fold other side to cover, pinching the edges to seal the goodness in. Now work that half circle into a ball shape(GENTLY). Place them in a sprayed baking dish . When all your biscuits have become balls, Egg wash them all. ( OK EGG WASH) one egg whipped with a small amount of water to thin. Brush with pastry Brush! Bake them for 15 to 20 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

Remove from Oven and Cool. Make the Glaze, mixing the 5 to 6 Tablespoons of conf. sugar and 1 tablespoon of water. Mixture should a thick consistency. Place it in a storage bagging cutting the bottom corner. Draw a cross pattern on each roll! YOU ARE DONE!
