Corned Beef and Cabbage

When The St. Patty’s Holiday approaches this is THE MEAL! The ingrediants are all but gathered for us a the local grocery store. So here in this short and sweet Blog we are going to make this Irish American meal.

You will buy the following items…..1 Corned Beef Roast, 1 small bunch of carrots, 2 pounds of potatoes, 1 bottle of lager and 1 medium head of cabbage. You will put the meat in your crockpot , Fat side up , and season the meat with the included packet. Pour over the 1 beer, close the lid and set the heat to high. You will cook it for 3 to 4 hours. After the meat has begun to flood your entire house with a amazing meatiness you are ready to add the vegetables. Cut the cabbage in a rough large chop, the carrots in a coin shape and the potatoes in large chunks. Place them all in the crock pot and dice 1 stick of butter in large pieces and do the top of the Veggies. Cook for 2 to 3 more hours on medium heat. You are ready to serve.

This will become not only a St. Patty’s Day favorite for your family, but maybe a weekend meal as well. Anyone Can Cook, I Promise. With this go to meal in your arsenal you armed to please your family with a hearty meal!
